OUR MISSION

Our mission is twofold:.

1.    To provide you with the purest and best tasting açaí

•       We only buy açaí from the Para region of Brazil, which harvests the highest quality açaí available in the Amazon.      

•     Açaí is an unstable fruit that begins to ferment within 24 hours of harvest.  It is vital that the harvested açaí be frozen quickly to preserve its nutrients.  That is why we put into practice manufacturing procedures that ensure the açaí gets processed within 6 to 8 hours of harvest and therefore loses no essential nutrients.  As a result, you receive all the healthy benefits açaí has to offer.

2.    To protect the Amazon Rainforest by increasing demand for non-timber forest products

•       We pay the indigenous farmers a premium for their harvested açaí in order to provide them with more economic incentive to regenerate the Amazon than to cut it down.

•       In conjunction with our exclusive US distributor, Natural Amazon Products, we give 15% of all our profits to funds that support economic development and education for the local indigenous people.  Such initiatives promote the prevention of deforestation.
